North Carolina Courage AAPI Month Poster

Commissioned to design an illustrated poster for my local NWSL team, the North Carolina Courage, highlighting their three Japanese players (at the time…Manaka, we miss you!). Was tasked with meeting brand standards for the 2026 season (colors, type, imagery—2026 is our venus fly trap year) while exploring a traditional anime style for the characters and composition. Poster was used for an activation event at Raleigh’s Animazement convention. Further events and distribution were planned but cancelled after Manaka was traded in July of 2026.
